Andre’s at The Carriage House at the Fox Run Golf Course has been a popular destination for weddings, parties, and special occasions galore since it opened for public use eight years ago.
Nestled among the rolling hills and crystal clear lakes of the Fox Run Golf Course in Eureka sits a quaint English cottage.
Known as The Carriage House, the building is hard to miss with its 35-foot vaulted ceiling and two-story windows on both sides. The manor serves as a venue for special events made even more spectacular by Andre’s Banquets & Catering, a family-owned and operated all-inclusive event planner that has helped St. Louis families celebrate for over 40 years.

“My dad started our headquarters on Telegraph Road in South County in November 1980,” Armengol said. “I started when I was 10 years old.”
Andre’s hosts about 120 events a year at The Carriage House. About 80% are wedding celebrations. Other events include chamber lunches, sports banquets, anniversaries, class reunions, and holiday parties.
“Any time a group wants to come together and have a private event with the food, dessert and bar all included, that’s what we can do here,” Armengol said.
Andre’s’ staff not only caters and serves events but also provides linens, china, floral displays, centerpieces, and more.
“Most caterers can do just-food. We’re a full-inclusive service,” Armengol said. “[The client] basically only deals with one person to handle all their needs for the event. We pretty much tailor everything to the client and what they’re looking for.”
Twenty-eight years ago, Andre’s also started a separate business called Wedding Consultants, which remains the only fully-comprehensive wedding shop in the Midwest. Wedding Consultants provides tuxedo rentals and officiating services among its service selections.
“Our theme is, ‘We take the tangle out of tying the knot,’” Armengol said. “We truly try to provide all the services a client could want to make their day easier.”
Multiple menu options are available at The Carriage House – from barbecue-themed selections to heavy-appetizer plans. The most popular cuisine is Italian, which has been a staple since 1980. Gourmet dishes like Chicken Marsala, Pork Loins with Peppercorn Cream Sauce, Pasta Con Broccoli, Italian potatoes, Green Beans Almondine, Amaretto Carrots, and deluxe salads with homemade dressings will have guests waltzing back for more.
Andre’s has 12 catering vans for people who are looking for a home or business catering option. However, it’s hard to resist the ambiance of The Carriage House.

“Everything is all in one spot and it’s way less hassle for the guests than to find multiple places to go,” Gilliam said. “Andre’s made this process so easy, and we couldn’t be happier with what we chose.”
Myers added, “It’s also so beautiful out here.”

Our Maitre'd handled every request we had with efficiency and a smile. All your staff seemed to work very well with each other and the Maitre'd was very pleasant on the microphone welcoming everyone and directing each table to the buffet. Everyone really enjoyed having our Blue and Gold Banquet at Andre's. We used to have all of our banquets in the school gym. Andre's has made it so easy that we don't have to go though all of that work to do the banquet on our own.

We booked Andre's because of the hardwood floors and LED up-lighting. I just couldn't see having my wedding reception in a dark room with dirty, smelly carpet. But the idea of all hardwood flooring and the ability to have LED lighting to match my color scheme was fantastic. My guests are still talking about how memorable my reception was!
